Itinerary

Day 1 To Amman: Fly from London to Amman with bmi. Transfer to the Four Seasons Hotel (Superior Room) 3 nights

Day 2 Jerash & Amman: Morning tour of Jerash. Afternoon tour of Amman, visiting the citadel and Roman Theatre (B)

Day 3 Madaba, Mount Nebo & Dead Sea: Morning visit to Madaba, home to a Byzantine mosaic map of the region and Mount Nebo from where Moses first viewed the Holy Land. Afternoon visit to the Dead Sea(B)

Day 4 To Petra: Drive to Petra, partly along the King’s Highway. Stop off en route to visit the 12th century Crusader castle of Karak and the atmospheric site of Little Petra. Stay 3 nights at the Movenpick Resort, Petra (Junior Suite) (B)

Day 5 Petra: Guided tour of the spectacular ancient city of Petra. Enter the city through the Siq canyon which opens out in front of the dramatic Treasury tomb and continue through the atmospheric ruins of a lost civilization (B)

Day 6 Petra: Day at leisure to explore Petra (your entrance fee is included) (B)

Day 7 To Amman: Morning drive to Wadi Rum for a 4x4 excursion into the desert. This afternoon, transfer to Amman and stay overnight at the Four Seasons Hotel (Superior Room) (B)

Day 8 To London: Morning transfer to the airport. Fly to Amman to London with bmi (B)

Note: This tour involves walking over rough terrain. At Petra, visiting the Monastery and High Place of Sacrifice requires a steep climb.
