PADI Open Water Referral
This allows you to complete the first part of your PADI course in the UK before flying to Egypt to complete your course in one of the dive centres in Egypt. The PADI Open Water course consists of 3 main parts:
- Theory In order to get the most out of your diving holiday to Egypt, you can complete your theory and confined water dives at a dive centre near your home. We can arrange your PADI Open Water Referral in Egypt as well as some additional diving as a newly qualified diver. If you have any questions, please call us on 0208 816 8789 ask to speak to Rob who is a PADI Divemaster. Alternatively, you can send us an email via the 'Contact Us' page and we'll get right back to you.
As well as the practical side of diving, students need to study and understand the PADI Open Water course manual. Each section has a knowledge review which must be completed. This part of the course will give you a basic understanding of the principles of scuba diving. Confined Water Dives You will be taught a number of skills which you need to be able to perform underwater. You complete these skills during the confined water dives of your course. Skills include removing and replacing your mask underwater and how to share air with your buddy. Open Water Dives Once you have mastered your scuba skills in the pool (confined water), you will need to demonstrate the same skills in the open water, usually a lake or sea. |
