Certified Divers

We are able to offer boat, night and shore diving at any of our dive operators PADI 5 Star Gold Palm Resorts in Nuweiba, Sharm el Sheikh, Hurghada, Safaga and Marsa Alam. Prebook your diving with us to save money on the resort rates. Don’t worry if you are diving by yourself, the dive boats are a great place to meet new friends and the dive centre always do their best to find you a ‘buddy’ of similar ability so you’ll both have a more enjoyable dive.

Divers If you don’t have your own equipment (or don’t want to bring it), you can rent what you need from the dive centre. Choose where you want to dive and which days you want to dive and if you want to book extra diving when you are there, just speak to the dive centre. The flexibility is there to suit you – it’s your holiday.

Finally, safety is very important to our dive operator so if you haven’t logged a dive in the 12 months prior to your trip to Egypt, you will be required to take a scuba review just to make sure your skills aren’t too rusty.

Nuweiba

Nuweiba When it's peace and quiet in a beautifully unspoiled setting you're after, then look no further than Nuweiba. The fantastic shore diving makes this the ideal place if you're a learner or a keen underwater photographer. Indeed, renowned diving photographer, Martin Edge, said of Nuweiba, "The best night dive ever"," as he photographed Spanish Dancers galore. It's really good for snorkelling, too.

Nuweiba's crystal clear waters are an amazing showcase for the vibrant coral gardens and marine life. Of course, for those less inclined to dive, there's the option to leisurely laze on the 7km of golden, soft, sandy beach.

Sharm el Sheikh

Sharmcentre The biggest holiday resort in Egypt offers a number of dive sites on the day boats and is also one of the departure points for the liveaboards. Sharm is a great option for the scuba diver who is also going on a family holiday. There is plenty for the family to enjoy while the diver is off on a day boat. To the north of Sharm are a number of dive sites along the coast with 4 reefs in the Straits of Tiran proving very popular. Gordon, Thomas, Woodhouse and Jackson reef offer some excellent drift dives and if conditions are right, the wreck of the Kormoran is also recommended.

Heading south into Ras Mohammed National Park, you will find one of the most popular dive sites in Egypt; Shark and Yolanda. There are also a number of good sites along the coast and the wrecks of the SS Thistlegorm and SS Dunraven should also be considered.

Hurghada

Hurghada Centre The second largest resort in Egypt covers quiet a large catchment area of hotels. Pickups are available from as far away as El Gouna for the daily dive trips. As with Sharm, Hurghada can offer a great deal to the diver who is on holiday with his family and it is also a departure point for liveaboards.

Both budding and experienced divers will enjoy Hurghada; whether it's day diving, doing one of the day trips below, learning to dive, taking your diving further or technical diving with Tekstreme.

Hurghada is renowned for its stunning scuba diving, snorkelling on coral reefs and wrecks, watersports and beaches. For hustle and bustle, try the local markets or vibrant nightlife.

Safaga

Safaga Centre If you are looking for Red Sea diving 'the way it used to be' then look no further than Safaga. 60kms south of Hurghada, Safaga is still part of the 'real Egypt'. As a bustling port town it will give you a glimpse of the way of life of the local people. The atmosphere here is traditional with a relaxed, paced rural life and none of the hassle of the big city. Wind down and enjoy the peace and ambience.

Safaga also offers fantastic diving opportunities for divers of all levels with uncrowded dive sites and whole stretches of reef still to be discovered.

Marsa Alam

Two hours south of Hurghada by car is the quiet resort of Marsa Alam, a place for serious divers. Both day boats and liveaboards operate from here (liveaboards from Marsa Ghalib) and due to the fact that it can be tricky to arrange flights to Marsa Alam, our liveaboard prices include transfers to/from Hurghada Airport.

Enjoy some fabulous day dives to the famous reefs of Elphinstone, Marsa Mubarak and Dolphin House Reef (Shaab Samadai), where there is a good chance to see dolphins in this beautiful protected National Park. The bays here are home to excellent corals, large turtles and Guitar rays and the islands off Marsa Alam are a highlight of the area.
